How long have you been in business?
35 years in the Auction business and 9 years as a Realtor and 6 years as an Associate Broker.
What is your primary product or service?
Complete auction and auctioneering services customized to meet a particular need or situation. We offer complete clean out services to selling the Real Estate and auctioning the personal property all designed to meet YOUR time frame and situation. We work for you and your best interest.
We offer Personal Property Appraisals for estate purposes, and we are recognized by the court systems in Frederick, Washington, Carroll and Montgomery Counties. In addition to being an Associate Broker, I have earned the designations of SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative)
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always enjoyed auctions and the Real Estate business fits very well into a joint plan.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We customize to fit a need or situation. We are not afraid to think "out of the box" and offer solutions that may not be "What everyone else does"
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash is always appreciated, we do accept checks with proper I.D. and depending upon the site we offer credit card purchases.
Which areas do you service?
Real Estate Service I am licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Most of our Auction business comes from the Frederick and Washington counties but we have conducted many auctions in Carroll and surrounding counties.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Myself and my wife Debbie takes care of the day to day operations. But we have a great extended staff who helps with moving, set up, cleaning and clearing. That is our auction company. I am a REALTOR with Maryland Real Estate Group, Inc. Marla Johnson is the Broker if record and co-owner
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday 7:00 to 7:00 Saturdays are by appointment. Sundays are reserved for family and church.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Word of mouth referrals are great, but for someone to tell me that I have made a difference in a situation that they thought was out of control or they couldn't get though with out our help is the greatest feeling...
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Colossians 4:2... Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us as well that God will open to us a door for the world....
