Breeders of American Saddlebred horses in Frederick, Maryland
Established in 2003, Bonnie and John Lorenzen have been involved in raising Pinto American Saddlebred horses in Maryland. Our well bred Saddlebreds all have champion bloodlines of Supreme Sultan, Winter Carnival, HHP Aire Command, CH Wing Commander, Chubasco, Newtown, The Color Of Fame, Colour Me Hot, Hot August Nite, Cappuccino Royale, Chubasco which are superior Show horses for the serious horse enthusiast.
All of our horses at our farm are trained by certified trainer Bonnie Lorenzen. Our yearlings are started early, haltering, leading, backing, and stand quiet. Round pen work starts early and they are taught to free handed lunging into a walk, trot and canter. One of the most important aspects of owning any horse is understanding how to handle your horse on the ground before you even think about riding the horse. In the barn, they learn to tie in the stall, cross-tie, clip, farrier exposure and load on the trailer. We expose our young horses to the outside perimeter of the farm by taking walks in the woods and crossing water and roads.
We feel that it is important that our customers know what they are purchasing and understand what the American Saddlebred horse is. We sell our horses in QUALITY not QUANTITY. All of the horses sold at our farm are sold sound and in good health. Honesty is our policy. If there are any issues with a horse, we will disclose that to you before your purchase.
