The Mental Health Association of Frederick County (MHA) has served the community as a private, non-profit organization since 1965. A leader in creating services that respond to the changing mental health needs in our community, MHA is a place where people can be heard and receive support.
MHA’s caring, understanding staff members empower individuals in every economic category by providing information, referral resources, education and counseling. In addition to our many programs, MHA staff members are also available to conduct workshops and training programs on a variety of issues from stress/anger management, depression, suicide prevention, and children's issues to communication skills and dealing with difficult people for businesses, community groups and organizations.
